Turkey Tail (Coriolus) belongs to the family polyporaceae, and its immune-enhancing activities have been extensively studied in Japan since mid 1970's (over 300 clinical studies have been conducted)*. Active compounds in Coriolus are widely recognized as PSK in Japan.

Turkey Tail - Coriolus versicolor
1. Known as “Yun Zhi” in China, “Kawaratake” in Japan, and “Turkey Tail” in the U.S., it may be the most studied and researched medicinal mushroom.
