We harvest and use only the thick roots, which are classified as Grade I and are considered to be of the highest quality. This premium extract has been carefully hand-crafted using whole organic roots that are harvested at their peak potency from the fertile volcanic soils of our certified organic farm. The roots are immediately processed with organic alcohol to retain all the active constituents that are naturally present in this plant.
Ashwagandha has been used for over 3,000 years in its native India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Throughout history, ashwagandha has been widely used throughout India as a rejuvenative tonic, and is classed as a "rasayana". This group incorporates the most highly regarded therapeutic herbs in Ayurvedic medicine. The translation of Ashwagandha is roughly, "the smell and strength of a horse", possibly referring to its aphrodisiac properties.
Suggested Use:
Take 1 mL twice daily in warm water with food.
