Considered the “guard dog” of the immune system, NK cells hunt down and kill foreign invaders. Employees of Diamond V who were exposed to the proprietary yeast culture showed increased NK cell activity compared to those who were not. A follow-up in vitro study found that EpiCor causes a four-fold increase in the activity of NK cells.
B cells help transfer lymphocytes (beneficial white blood cells) from the blood into the tissues, where they’re needed to do battle. In a laboratory setting, EpiCor significantly activated human B cells.
