is the only brand of natural progesterone cream that has been clinically tested. It helps women find relief from issues that occur during perimenopause and menopause.
During perimenopase and menopause, hormone imbalance can lead to discomforts such as hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, vaginal dryness, irritability or decreased sex drive. These complaints are often present postmenopausal as well. During the reproductive years, hormone imbalance may cause premenstrual complaints such as water retention, breast tenderness, migraines or mood swings.
What is Progesterone?
Progesterone is a hormone that your body makes. It plays an important role in balancing out the effects of estrogen and other hormones. If you have too much estrogen and not enough progesterone, your body may be thrown out of balance. It is common for women who are approaching perimenopause, and even through menopause, to produce smaller amounts of progesterone. Pro-Gest® natural progesterone cream can supplement your body’s own progesterone levels and lead you back to a state of natural balance.
Where do I put it?
We get that question a lot. But trust us, there's nothing weird or hard about it. Just massage a dime-size dollop of cream (about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon) into your skin. Try your wrists, arms, thighs, tummy-whatever you like. Do that twice a day for 21 days, then rest for the next seven, and you're on your way to natural peri/menopausal balance. Or if you're looking for help with PMS balance, use 14 days on and 14 off.
Each ¼ tsp contains approximately 20 mg of USP Progesterone. Careful clinical research has shown this to be an effective amount to achieve natural balance.

Women in their reproductive years:
*These are only SUGGESTED use-Ask your doctor before use the cream
Every woman finds the right balance for herself. We suggest starting with our recommendations and working from there. Pro-Gest® is best used during the second half of your menstrual cycle, for the two weeks prior to menstruation. Days 1 (first day of bleeding) -14: do not use Pro-Gest. Days 15 - 21: use ¼ teaspoon twice a day. Days 22-28: use ¼ to ½ teaspoon of Pro-Gest twice a day. The suggested use is based on a 28-day cycle. If your cycle is shorter or longer you may need to adjust the timing of use, earlier or later than day 14, to fit with ovulation. If your period begins early, STOP using the Pro-Gest while you are bleeding. Count the first day of bleeding as day one, and begin the cycle again.
Women in perimenopause (still menstruating, with cycle changes):
Days 1 (first day of bleeding) - 7: do not use Pro-Gest. Days 8-21: use ¼ teaspoon of Pro-Gest twice a day. Days 22-28: use ¼ to ½ teaspoon of Pro-Gest twice a day. If your period begins early, STOP using the Pro-Gest while you are bleeding. Count the first day of bleeding as day one, and begin the cycle again. If your period is late, use the cream for up to 3 weeks (day 28 of your cycle), then take a week off. If your period has not started by the end of the week off, resume use of the cream as described above for days 8-28 or until your period starts. STOP the cream when your period begins. Count the first day of bleeding as day one of your cycle, and begin the cycle over again.
Women in menopause or who are post-menopausal (no longer menstruating):
Choose a calendar day (e.g. first day of the month) as day one. Days 1-7: do not use Pro-Gest. Days 8-30 (or 31): use 1/8 to ¼ teaspoon of Pro-Gest twice a day. If needed, you may use up to ½ teaspoon of Pro-Gest twice a day according to the same schedule.
