Modern studies on pharmacodynamics

This product is composed of material medication of invigorating the kidney, regulating Yin-yang, replenishing and activating blood. It contains polysaccharide, saponins, many aminoacids. Modern studies show that, when this product is administered by oral or abdominal injection routes, it inhibits all kinds of inflammation, ranging from air-cystic granulation to carrageenin foot swelling, and cotton-ball granulation. When administered by the abdominal-route, the vitamine C contents in adrenal gland in rat is lowered, but this action doesn’t appear when the rat is de-pituitarized, indicating that its anti-inflammatory action is mainly through stimulation on pituitary-adrenal cortex to release adrenal cortisone. It markedly inhibits pain induced by electric shock to mice tail or abdominal injection of acetic acid, indicating that its action of anti-inflammation and analgesia is equal to it’s therapeutic effect clinically.

Clinical studies:

It was mainly applied in hyperplastic spondylitis (hypertrophy thoracic vertebrae, inflammation of lumbar vertebrae), cervical syndrome, bone spur of deficient kidney and blood static type. It was reported that 1000 cases of retrograde spondylitis were treated with this product, 803 cases were markedly effective; 141, ameliorated. When Semen Raphani, raw Radix Glycyrrhizae were added to this product for endemic fluorosis, it was reported that in a group of 110 cases, 46 were markedly effective; 31, effective; the total effective rate being 70%.
